Understanding P vs S Traps and Top/Bottom Inlets
S Trap
An S Trap exits at the bottom of your toilet and is designed to outlet directly through the floor.
P Trap
A P Trap exits at the back of the toilet and is designed to outlet through the wall.
Bottom Inlet
Bottom Inlet allows for left or right side plumbing. White plugs are provided for the side you are not using.
Top Entry
The water supply enters the cistern from the back, usually at the top of the toilet suite. If your toilet is Back entry compatible, a conversion kit will be provided.
